West Midlands Europe Hub: Established back in 1985 as the first city representation office to the European Union, the office has, over the past decades, developed into a wider platform for a wide range of partners coming from different sectors in the West Midlands – local authorities, universities and research institutes and businesses.

University of Birmingham

Birmingham City University

The work undertaken by our research staff and research students is not only enriching our courses, it is literally shaping the world. In the Research Excellence Framework 2014, which measures universities’ research performance, 90 per cent of Birmingham City University’s total submission was judged to have delivered ‘outstanding’ or ‘very considerable’ impact externally.

Aston University
