Save the Date | 14:30–17:30 Public Conference: Universities as Engines of Place‑Based Innovation
This year, as UnILiON marks its 10th Anniversary, the Annual Event public conference provides a timely momentum to bring together high‑level executives from member universities, European policymakers, and industry leaders. The event will explore how universities act as engines of place‑based research and innovation ecosystems, skills development, and Europe’s competitiveness — with a particular focus on the four policy windows of the next Horizon Europe and the European Competitiveness Fund (ECF).
The programme will feature keynote interventions, expert insights, and a panel with representatives from the European Commission, industry, and academia. Speakers will outline their needs and present their vision for strengthening Europe’s innovation landscape in future programme planning, while the network also reflects on a decade of achievements and collaboration.
