The University of Leeds was established in 1904. It is a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive UK universities and ranked in the top 75 in the 2024 QS World Rankings. We have more than 39,000 students, with over 14,000 international students from over 130 countries.

The aim of the Europe Office is to:
- develop, maintain and grow strategic partnerships with European universities
- support student enrolment from Europe
- actively promote EU research funding opportunities with academics and identifying partners for Horizon Europe calls
- foster academic-industry relationships between Leeds and companies in Europe
